Crunched is an Excel add-in that integrates directly into your Microsoft Excel workspace. Follow these steps to get started:

Open Excel Add-ins Store

Open Excel and go to InsertGet Add-ins (or Office Add-ins)

Search for Crunched

In the Office Add-ins store, search for “Crunched”

Add Crunched

Click Add to install Crunched to your Excel

Open Crunched

Once installed, you’ll see the Crunched icon in your Excel ribbon. Click it to open the side panel.

Start Chatting

The Crunched side panel will appear on the right side of your Excel window. Start typing to ask questions or give instructions!

Troubleshooting Installation

Add-ins Blocked by Your Organization

Some organizations have IT policies that restrict or block Excel add-ins for security reasons. If you can’t access the Office Add-ins store or can’t install Crunched:
  1. Contact your IT administrator - They may need to approve Crunched for your organization
  2. Need help explaining to IT? - Don’t hesitate to reach out to us at support@usecrunched.com. We’re happy to provide compliance documentation, security information, or speak directly with your IT team

Other Installation Issues

If you encounter other installation problems:
  • Ensure you’re using a supported Excel version
  • Try restarting Excel
  • Contact your IT administrator or the Crunched support team
